A nursery where your ideas have room to grow... Do you love working with young children and want to work somewhere that encourages your creativity, values your ideas and supports you to develop? We are working with a well-established, Reggio-inspired nursery in Bath to recruit Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Early Years Educators.
This nursery offers something a little different: an imaginative environment where children's interests are taken seriously and educators have the freedom to contribute their own ideas. Children's interests help shape the day. An unexpected question might become a shared investigation, an afternoon outdoors might inspire a creative project, and an idea that captures children's imaginations can be explored over several days. The environment is designed to make this possible, with studios, authentic materials and carefully considered spaces that encourage discovery. Children explore beyond a single room, while mixed-age key family groups provide a strong foundation of relationships and belonging. As a practitioner your role is to observe, listen, offer ideas and support children to become confident, curious and increasingly independent.
You will join this nursery through a temp-to-perm employment route, giving you the chance to experience the nursery, get to know the team and see whether it's the right fit before progressing to become a permanent member of staff. You'll work alongside experienced practitioners, leaders and artists who care deeply about children's experiences and welcome contributions from colleagues.
You don't need to already be an expert in Reggio-inspired practice. A willingness to learn, reflect, contribute and try something different is just as important.
