Purpose of Role

This role involves delivering high-quality engagement with children, supporting their developmental needs while maintaining safety and adhering to policies. It includes supporting observation and assessment standards, working with parents, and contributing to service excellence and regulatory compliance.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of care and education, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Support the implementation of Bright Horizons' curriculum and observation processes to meet the needs of all children.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including parents and colleagues.
• Promote safety policies and ensure a high safety culture.
• Participate in team tasks such as hygiene, room preparation, and risk assessments.
• Support referrals and engage with professionals as needed.
• Attend training and professional development activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage behaviour and support children in feeling secure and confident.
• Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being, leading by example in safeguarding practices.
• Assist in meal preparation and maintain safety during mealtimes.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure a safe environment.
• Complete required safeguarding and child protection training.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
