Job summary

Bright Horizons Callands in Warrington is seeking a flexible Nursery Practitioner to support EYFS delivery within the Bright Flex/Bank team. You will help children engage in educational activities and contribute to day-to-day responsibilities.

The role requires a Level 3+ Early Years qualification, prior experience with children, a passion for making learning fun, strong communication with both children and adults, safeguarding awareness, and adaptability. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with children in nursery settings (e.g., Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator).
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
• Solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection requirements.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment.

• Work as part of the Bright Flex/Bank team to cover shifts and complete day-to-day tasks.

Salary - £13.50per hour (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We're looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Callands nursery. The Nursery is Ofsted rated "Good" having been newly refurbished the setting boasts a large private garden and is equipped with a wonderful range of age appropriate toys and activities.

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee - giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we're looking for

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working with children - Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
