Job summary

Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Nursery and Preschool is looking for Nursery Practitioners to support EYFS delivery with engaging activities for children at Saffron Walden. The role offers flexible hours and part-time options, contributing to a caring team environment.

Applicants should hold a full Level 3 (or higher) Early Years qualification and have experience in nurseries or similar settings. DBS checks are required along with safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience as Nursery Practitioner/Nursery Nurse/EY Educator/Nanny/Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from £13.70ph (level 2), starting from £14.24ph (level 3) (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location- Saffron Walden, CB11

Hours - Flexible working hours/part time

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving you the best of both worlds!

Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

What we're looking for
