Job summary

Bright Horizons Potten End Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team in Hemel Hempstead. The setting is a 92-place nursery with spacious rooms, a large garden, and onsite parking.

The role supports EYFS delivery and offers a strong benefits package. The ideal candidate holds a Level 3+ Early Years qualification, has childcare experience, and is passionate about making learning enjoyable for children.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Potten End Day Nursery and Preschool Salary – Starting from £12.99ph (level 2), starting from £13.50ph (level 3) (dependant on qualification/s and experience) Location- Hemel Hempstead, HP1 Hours- Flexible Hours

Role Summary

We're looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our Bright Horizons Potten End. The beautiful 92-place setting is based in converted barns, with spacious and well-resourced rooms, as well as a fantastic large garden area complete with play equipment, and animals! The nursery is Ofsted rated 'Good' and benefits from plenty of onsite parking.

Responsibilities

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee - giving you the best of both worlds! Within this role, you will support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.
