Job summary

Stagecoach Barnsley Depot is seeking qualified bus drivers to join our team at Wakefield Road, Barnsley. You’ll drive our extensive fleet safely across routes, ensuring punctuality, comfort and a high standard of customer care for all passengers.

The role offers guaranteed hours with training, progression opportunities, and a supportive network. Training pay starts at £14.50 per hour, with a higher rate of £15.50 per hour once fully qualified, plus a welcome bonus for new drivers.

At our Barnsley depot, we operate a fleet of 72 buses covering the areas of Barnsley , Wakefield , Pontefract & Doncaster with a team of 200 Drivers.

What do you need to apply?

• You need to be 18 years old and hold a PCV licence

• Right to work in the UK
