We are currently looking for a Qualified Diagnostic Technician to join us at our main car dealership in Letchworth Garden City. We believe in ‘being the best’ and only want the best to work with us.

Key role responsibilities:

• Conduct visual health checks (VHCs), detailed diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and services, including techniques required for HV vehicles.
• Ensure vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs are completed in line with internal and manufacturer requirements.
• Understand the warranty process and complete diagnostic reports.
• Report and record work done and tests carried out, and immediately report any further work required or vehicle faults.
• Complete road tests and sign off warranty repairs.
• Interpret instructions from job cards/repair orders, complying with repair instructions and manufacturer settings and tolerances.
• Instruct the parts department on necessary parts for repairs.
• Liaise with customers on technical and product matters.
• Stay updated with recent changes in technology, techniques, and commercial developments.

What we need from you:

• A full UK driving license is essential.
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, including HV qualification.
• Own tools are required.
• Ability to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• High accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Self-motivated and customer-focused.
• Ability to deliver customer satisfaction at all times.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5:30 pm, and alternate Saturdays, 8 am to 12 pm.
