Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Nurse to join our team in the Head and Neck Outpatients department at Queens Hospital Burton to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for a flexible and motivated Dental Nurse to join our busy Maxillofacial and Orthodontic Team. This position is based at Queens Hospital Burton, but due to varying clinical activity, it may involve cross-site work.

This post is suitable for Dental Nurses registered with the General Dental Council. Orthodontic experience is highly desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

This role offers valuable experience that can support future permanent positions.

You must demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality care, work effectively as part of a team, prioritize your workload, and communicate confidentially with staff from all disciplines.

You will work with the multidisciplinary team, alongside orthodontic consultants, registrars, and orthodontic therapists during consultations and treatments. You will also assist in minor operations and clinic sessions, including Maxillofacial, Oncology, Restorative, Cleft lip and palate, orthognathic, and ENT clinics.
