The NHS is seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse for its outreach clinic in Stratford, east London. The role involves providing comprehensive dental services and supporting students in a teaching environment. Candidates should possess GDC registration, relevant qualifications, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
We are currently recruiting a Dental Nurse to work in our teaching facility at sir Ludwig Guttman in Stratford Hackney. This clinic is part of our Dental Hospital, providing outreach services for our undergraduate students.
Successful candidates will work closely with QMUL university's staff and students. This is an ideal career opportunity for anyone who is looking for a new challenge and wishing to develop their existing skills and be part of our internationally renowned teaching hospital in east London.
Hours of work will be 8.45am to 5.15pm with an hour for lunch. Our outreach clinic is part of The Royal London Dental Hospital at Barts Health.
Our Dental Nurses are provided with a generous CPD package and regular training via our clinical audits. We have lots of extended training opportunities and lots of our nurses have been able to complete recognised NEBDN training courses.
Our structures mean that there are opportunities to become a Senior Dental Nurse, Dental Nurse Manager, Lead Nurse or a Dental Clinical Nurse Specialist.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
1. Compassionate and caring approach to patients and service users
2. Practice safe and effective Infection Prevention Control
3. flexible in their approach to work
4. using their own initiative
5. work effectively as part of the team
6. have basic IT skills
7. to be able to prioritise and organise workload
Candidates must have a good level of experience working as a Qualified Dental Nurse. Registration with the GDC is mandatory.

The qualified dental nurse is an integral member of the dental team. They play an important role in the provision of dental services and the effective operation of the dental institute and outreach facilities.
