Job Opportunity: Qualified Dental Nurse

An enthusiastic and motivated Qualified Dental Nurse is invited to join our Public Dental Service team at Oban Lorn & Islands Hospital.

The post involves providing high-quality, patient-centred care to various priority groups, while ensuring the efficient operation of the dental surgery. Candidates must have relevant clinical experience, NEBDN or SVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing, and GDC registration.

Availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required as the role involves participation in unscheduled care. Duties may also include attending other clinics across Argyll and Bute.

A valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle for work purposes are essential.

Working Hours Update

NHS Scotland will reduce the full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours starting 1 April 2024, without affecting pay. This change will be applied pro-rata for part-time staff.
