Job summary

Stony Dental Practice in Milton Keynes is offering a training pathway to become a qualified dental nurse within Rodericks Dental Partners. You’ll gain hands-on experience, enjoy structured onboarding, and work within a caring, supportive team dedicated to your development.

You will prepare, sterilise, and assist with chairside support, learn infection control, and complete the qualification coursework while growing clinical skills in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths desirable.
• Interest in healthcare and patient care.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Keep treatment areas clean and organised to meet hygiene standards.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Complete coursework and assessments as part of your dental nursing qualification.
• Participate fully in training sessions and development activities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Help keep treatment areas clean and organised to meet strict hygiene standards
• Provide reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after treatment
• Complete coursework and assessments as part of your dental nursing qualification
• Participate fully in training sessions and development activities

Skills and Attributes We’re Looking For:

• A genuine interest in healthcare and patient care
• Friendly, caring, and approachable personality
• Comfortable working in a clinical environment, including procedures where you may see blood or surgical treatments
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• An understanding that you will on your feet throughout   the day!
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
• GCSE ( or equ ) in English and Maths is desirable but not essential – enthusiasm and  dedication  matter most !
