Job summary

Bee Dental Clinic in Pendlebury, Manchester, part of the Smart Dental Care network, is seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse. The role offers full-time preferred hours with part-time considered for the right candidate.

You will join a friendly, patient-focused practice committed to high standards of care. The successful applicant will be GDC registered, NEBDN-qualified, with experience in general and specialist dentistry, and a collaborative, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Must be GDC registered.
• NEBDN or equivalent qualification.
• 2+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience with general dentistry and specialist treatments.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Friendly, professional and patient-focused approach.
• Confident using dental software and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Able to support the wider team.
• Experience with implants/orthodontics/oral surgery advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support across general and specialist dentistry.
• Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control.
• Prepare surgeries, equipment and instruments for treatments.
• Support patients throughout their appointments and provide aftercare guidance.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and assist with stock management.
• Work collaboratively with clinicians and colleagues to deliver excellent patient care.

We are ideally looking for someone seeking a full-time position, although we would happily consider part-time hours for the right candidate.

What We're Looking For

• GDC registration, essential
• NEBDN or equivalent recognised Dental Nursing qualification
• Ideally 2+ years' post-qualification experience
• Experience assisting with general dentistry and specialist treatments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A friendly, professional and patient-focused approach
• Confidence using dental software and maintaining accurate patient records
• A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team

Working Hours: Days and hours will be discussed at interview. Some of our surgery sessions operate between 8am and 8pm.
