Qualifications

• GDC registered with at least 1 year of paediatric nursing experience.
• Familiar with inhalation sedation techniques.
• Has Immediate Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatments and assessments as part of a paediatric specialist team.
• Provide support during inhalation sedation.
• Monitor and reassure young patients throughout their treatments.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and high standards of hygiene.

• GDC registered Dental Nurse
• 1 year experience in paediatric nursing
• Experience in sedation
• Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification

Desirable

• Sedation qualification – ideally in inhalation sedation (training can be provided)

• Assisting our paediatric specialist with treatments and assessments
• Providing calm, confident chairside support during inhalation sedation
• Monitoring and reassuring young patients throughout their visit
• Maintaining accurate, professional clinical notes
• Supporting general restorative clinicians with a wide range of treatments
• Maintaining high standards of infection control and clinical hygiene
• Managing digital records, decontamination processes, and patient communication
