Job Description:
As a Qualified Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools across Leeds, covering both short-term and long-term assignments. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose assignments that suit your availability and preferences. Whether you are looking for a few days of work per week or full-time coverage, we have a range of opportunities for you.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivering high-quality lessons to students across different year groups and subjects, in line with the national curriculum.
2. Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
3. Managing classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a respectful and focused learning atmosphere.
4. Assisting with student assessments, providing feedback, and ensuring the smooth continuation of the lesson plans set by the regular teacher.
5. Ensuring all school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations, are adhered to at all times.
6. Collaborating with teaching staff and other school personnel to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

Key Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in a school setting.
2. A passion for teaching and a strong commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
3. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
4. Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and teaching settings.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with both students and colleagues.
6. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (Veritas Education can assist with this process if necessary).
7. References to verify teaching experience and professional conduct.
