A regional healthcare provider in Middlesbrough is looking for a Qualified Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to deliver low-intensity psychological therapies to children and young people. The role involves working closely with a multi-disciplinary team and requires necessary qualifications and experience in mental health services. This is a fixed-term position covering maternity leave, providing a chance to make a significant impact in children's mental health care.

Our Children's Wellbeing Practitioner's (CWP's) deliver a range of brief low intensity, evidenced based psychological therapies.
The post holder will work with children and young people (0-18years) with the principal objectives of providing assessment and intervention to children and young people who have mental health needs.
Working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team and liaising closely with other agencies you will assess, plan and implement care for children with mental health needs.
If you have excellent communication skills and are committed to providing a high quality, flexible service to children then we want to hear from you.
The post holder will be working into the Tees Getting Help team working across the Teesside area. The team is currently based at Evergreen, Acklam Road Hospital though this may change in the future.
We are keen to hear from suitably qualified and experienced individuals. Applicants wishing to work part-time hours would be considered.
This is a fixed-term post for 1 year covering maternity leave.
Please note that CWP registration is a requirement for this post.
Applicants must ensure that prior to applying they have agreement from their current line manager that they can be released on a secondment basis.In the event that permanent funding is secured for this post the successful applicant will be confirmed in post on a permanent basis
The post holder will work within the CAMHS team providing assessment and CBT based low intensity interventions to individuals and groups.The post holder will work with young people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary, and should be committed to equal opportunities.
