Job description

Kirktonholme Childcare is a caring and forward-thinking company with ten early years settings throughout the west of Scotland. We pride ourselves in the provision of high-quality childcare and education with a strong commitment to training and professionally developing our employees.

We are looking for qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join our enthusiastic Kirktonholme Childcare team at our East Kilbride Location.

Full-time permanent position / 20 days Annual leave + 8 Public Holidays

35 hr & 40 hr contracts available.

Candidates should:

Hold a HNC or SVQ level 3 qualification in Early Education and Childcare or equivalent

Experience in delivering Curriculum for Excellence and Pre-Birth to Three is required and a working knowledge of Realising the Ambition and GIRFEC.

Successful candidates will be required to become a member of SSSC and PVG Scheme.

Responsibilities of the job include:

• Providing learning experiences for children that are age and stage appropriate.
• Take part in training that is provided throughout the year.
• Working as part of a team.
