Job summary

Wentwood Dental Practice in Winchcombe is looking for a Qualified/Apprentice Dental Nurse. This 35 hours per week role supports dentists during a range of clinical procedures, prepares instruments and materials, and upholds the highest standards of infection control in a friendly, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
• Confident and professional communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Comfortable in a clinical environment including procedures with blood or surgical treatments.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Caring, compassionate approach towards patients and colleagues.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks.
• Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products.
• Play an important role in creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team.
