Rodericks Dental Partners invites applications for a part-time Dental Nurse role at Aldridge House Dental Practice, Walsall. The position offers 30 hours per week in a busy village centre with a supportive team and a range of clinical duties.

You will assist clinicians, maintain instruments, uphold infection control, support patients, and help manage records and admin. The role emphasizes patient care and professional development within our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• GDC-registered Dental Nurse required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Comfortable in clinical settings, including procedures with blood or surgical treatments.
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks.
• Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products.
• Create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team.

Aldridge House Dental Highlights

• Busy village centre — affluent area with long-standing patient base
• Ground-floor corner unit, 4 surgeries (3 with windows) and computerised with Dentally software
• Main bus stop 2 mins walk; street parking available (all free)
• 4 Clinicians
• Nurses with 5-14 years' experience
• Services: Implants, Invisalign, Bioclear, DWSI Endo, Laser Therapy
• No onsite parking but free street parking available nearby
