Qualified Adult Social Worker

Location: South Wales

Pay rate: £38 per hour

Our client is seeking qualified Adult Social Workers to join the Adult Services Hospital team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in Adults Social Care and a commitment to best practices. Your role will focus on supporting vulnerable adults, ensuring their needs are met while minimizing risks.

In this position, you will work in accordance with social care legislation and local government requirements, delivering person-centred, safe, and effective social care services. You will make assessments and decisions on appropriate interventions, using your professional knowledge and communication skills to build relationships with service users and agencies to meet identified needs.

You will be dedicated to achieving positive and sustainable outcomes for your clients, striving to provide the best possible services and support for vulnerable adults and their families.

Ideal candidate:
  • Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
  • SW, CSS, DipSW, or Social Work Degree
  • Experience in a Social Services Directorate or similar agency
  • Committed to continuous improvement and high-quality service
  • Excellent mediation and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with diverse client groups
  • Proven ability to build meaningful relationships with service users and families
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary, interagency environment
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • 4+ years of qualified experience
