If you have limited exposure to auditing, then on-the-job training to rapidly uplift practical experience will be given. Exposure to a wide range of clients and sectors (both within the commercial and non-profit arenas) within a close-knit team will mean that you are given the opportunity for real hands-on practical experience.
Role breakdown is 60% audit, 10% accounts, 10% tax, and 20% wider business advisory work.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsible for auditing of companies including planning and finalisation of jobs, in a wide range of sectors - both commercial and non-profit.
Preparation of tax computations and Corporation Tax returns (CT600).
Preparation of accounts of companies, groups of companies, partnerships, and LLPs, charities, trusts, together with associated tax computations.
Key Requirements:
Qualified to ACA or ACCA level with 3-4 years practice experience, preferably in a Top 100 firm.
Audit experience preferable (completed two audits in the last year).
Technically competent, including solid experience and understanding of UK GAAP, Auditing Standards, and Corporate Tax.
