Responsibilities

As we've successful employed other professionals to the team, we’ve been enlisted to assist the firm to recruit an experienced andqualified Accountant to join other high calibre experts in their central department toprovide a technical consultancy service to their network for their clients, supporting the business on the more detailed accounting aspects.

No one day will be the same; you will be responsible for providing accounting and taxation services for their clientele but also managing incoming enquiries and providing professional advice.

You will also review the work of junior team members, provide advice and guide them to success, drive effectiveness, monitoring for system and process enhancements.

As a senior Accountant in the team you will be a primary contact to the clients, managing new clients and integrating them to the practice.

The firm can offer you a 35 hour week, 25 days holiday, flexible working/working from home, company pension, health scheme and much more.

Qualifications & Requirements

To apply for this role you will need to have the following:

  • A formal qualification such as ACA, ACCA.
  • Vast experience of working with clients in an accountancy practice to UK regulations (must-have).
  • Proven success with mentoring less experienced team members.
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to build a strong rapport with both internal and external contacts.
  • Strong knowledge of various accounting software including Quickbooks, Xero, TaxCalc, Dext and more
  • An awareness of MTD would be an extreme advantage
