This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to the financial integrity and strategic success of the business.

The Role:
As a key member of the finance function, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting strategic planning and decision-making. This is a broad and hands-on role within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities as the Qualified Accountant will include:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Manage month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations across a multi-site environment.
  • Handle daily finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning process.
  • Ensure accurate preparation of statutory accounts and full compliance with VAT, Corporation Tax, and HMRC regulations.
  • Liaise with external auditors during the year-end audit process.
  • Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
  • Use systems such as Xero, Sage, or similar ERP software to maintain accurate financial data.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insight for decision-making and investment planning.
  • Contribute to cost-efficiency and risk mitigation initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • 3-5 years post-qualification experience, ideally within property, real estate, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong technical accounting background.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel (experience with Xero is highly advantageous).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
