Addington Ball Limited is seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join their Bedford-based practice. The role offers exposure to year-end accounts, VAT returns and tax computations across diverse clients, with strong study support and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified or at the latter stage of ACA or ACCA with previous accountancy practice experience.
• IT skills including Excel and any accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS etc)
• High levels of attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping and tax computations for a range of clients.
• Assist clients with ad hoc projects, providing support and guidance where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes and client service delivery.
• Ensure chargeability, recovery and profitability targets are being met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping and tax computations for a range of clients.
• Assist clients with ad hoc projects, providing support and guidance where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes and client service delivery.
• Ensure chargeability, recovery and profitability targets are being met.

Requirements:

• Qualified or at the latter stage of ACA or ACCA with previous accountancy practice experience
• IT skills including Excel and any accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS etc)
• High levels of attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
