We are seeking a passionate and innovative QTS Teacher to join our dedicated team at a leading SEN school in Cranleigh. This is an exceptional opportunity to apply your teaching expertise in a highly specialised, rewarding and supportive environment.

The Role

As a part of the Qualified Teaching Team, you will be responsible for designing, planning and delivering a wider school curriculum and special events that encourage development and enhance learning and provide unique opportunities to our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, creative, and highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning styles and abilities
  • Provide support and teaching to Autistic pupils based on behaviour analysis, following individualised curriculum to help them achieve their full potential
  • Meet pupil's individual needs through effective support planning
  • Undertake practical and theoretical training to ensure a satisfactory understanding and practice of teaching methods
  • Lead and take part in educational visits and off sight activities with pupils (during school hours)
  • Participate in team meetings to understand and implement all school policies on curricular matters
About you
  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A positive, can do attitude
  • Demonstrate genuine empathy, patience, and resilience
  • Experience working within a SEN environment is highly desirable, but a clear passion for and commitment to special education is essential
