TeacherActive is seeking an experienced General Cover Teacher for a long-term position at a mainstream Secondary School in Telford. The role involves delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects, maintaining high expectations and positive behaviour, and ensuring student engagement across KS3/KS4.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have UK secondary teaching experience, and demonstrate strong IT and communication skills with a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential
• Experience in a UK secondary school setting
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management, including handling challenging behaviour
• Strong IT skills with interactive whiteboards and school systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, flexible and proactive

Responsibilities
