Job Title: Science Teacher

The Role:

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will inspire students to develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts while fostering a love for learning. Your responsibilities include planning, teaching, assessing lessons, and collaborating with staff to create a positive, supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of science resources.
• Create a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and team meetings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Encourage students to develop a passion for science, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Possesses a degree in Science or a related field.
• Has proven experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
• Demonstrates a passion for Science and the ability to inspire students.
• Exhibits strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Possesses excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Is committed to student welfare and personal development.
