We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join our vibrant team. The Role:

As a Science Teacher you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will inspire students to develop a deep understanding of concepts while encouraging a love for learning. Your role will involve planning, teaching, and assessing lessons, as well as working with other staff to create a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
2. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
3. Support the development of science resources and contribute to curriculum planning.
4. Foster a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment.
5. Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and team meetings.
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience for all students.
7. Encourage students to develop a passion for science, while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. A degree in Science or a related field.
3. Proven experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
4. A passion for Science and the ability to inspire and engage students.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
6. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
7. A commitment to student welfare and personal development.
