Qualified Primary Tutor needed in Romford.

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified Primary School Outreach Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people not attending school in Romford.

As an Outreach Tutor, you will create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education, boosting engagement and attainment. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher seeking a more personalized, engaging teaching experience outside the traditional classroom setting.

Many pupils may have been out of education for some time, resulting in low confidence levels. Your role will be to reengage them in learning and help restore structure to their daily routine.

Prospero Teaching will support you in monitoring each pupil's progress and facilitating effective learning.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Romford
• Position – Qualified Primary School Outreach Tutor
• Type of work – Contract
• Duration – Dependent on each student's needs
• Contract type – Temporary
• Hours – Part-time or full-time based on availability; sessions range from 1 to 3 hours
• Rate of pay – Minimum £25 per hour

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent qualification
• At least 6 months' experience in a UK school
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (preferred but not essential)

ELIGIBILITY

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Two professional child-related references from the last two years
