Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths tutor looking to make a real impact on students’ learning journeys? We are seeking an experienced Qualified Maths Tutor to provide one-to-one support for students in Redbridge, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

About the Role

As a Qualified Maths Tutor, you will deliver tailored lessons designed to meet the individual needs of students, ranging from general Maths support to preparation for exams. You will also work with students with additional learning needs, including those with SEN or from vulnerable backgrounds, providing them with the nurturing support they need to thrive.

This is a flexible, part-time role with hours ranging from 1 to 30 per week. You can choose to work in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings, depending on your availability and the student’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one Maths tutoring, adapting lessons to suit each student’s learning style.
  • Support students with varying abilities, including those with SEN or additional needs.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents or carers.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • PGCE in Maths or QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) .
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring Maths experience .
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desired Qualities:

  • Experience working with SEN students or vulnerable children.
