Job Title: QTS ICT/Computer Science Teacher
Location: Burnley
Contract Type: Full-time
Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate ICT/Computer Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Burnley for the new academic year, starting September 2025. The successful candidate will teach ICT and Computer Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop essential digital skills and a strong foundation in programming and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to enhance learning
  • Inspire students to develop their problem-solving and technical skills
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and integrate them into lessons
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities such as coding clubs or technology events

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching ICT and Computer Science in a secondary school setting
