Job summary

Tripod Partners is seeking a Registered Social Worker with strong experience in Mental Health to undertake focused S117 reviews as part of an MDT project in Gloucestershire. You will work within a multidisciplinary team and be flexible for on-site attendance as required, contributing to person-centred recovery support.

The role requires SWE registration with ASYE or equivalent statutory experience, with a background in Adult Social Care and cross-agency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker with Social Work England.
• Experience in statutory social work settings is required.
• Experience in Adult Social Care and multi-agency environments.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, models, and theories for adult social work.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

Our guarantee:

• A consistent pay rate of £38 per hour
• £150 accommodation/commuter mileage weekly allowance
• Initial contract - 3 months ( subject to possible extension)

Our Social Workers must be able to listen hard to the people of Gloucestershire, to understand what really matters and to connect them to resources that help them continue with their chosen life, either with support or independently. You will also be working with individuals to help them to regain control of their lives in a crisis. We use the Three Conversation approach, a model that re-emphasises focus on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them.

• To be a Social Worker registered with Social Work England with a completed ASYE year or equivalent demonstrable experience in a statutory social work setting
• Have experience working within Adult Social Care, including working in a multi-agency and court environment
• Have knowledge and understanding of the legislation, models, and theories relevant to Adult Social Work
• Hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car (exceptions may apply under the Equality Act)
