Location: Lutterworth area
Salary: £60-70k DOE

We are working with a leading aerospace manufacturer to recruit a BMS Quality Assurance Manager who will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving quality approvals, compliance, and auditing processes within the business.

The Role

As BMS Quality Assurance Manager, you will:

1. Ensure Compliance: Maintain certifications and approvals (ISO 9001, AS 9100, EASA Part 21G, Part 145, etc.), and obtain new approvals where required.
2. Lead Auditing Processes: Oversee internal audits, supplier audits, and external third-party audits, ensuring adherence to aerospace quality standards.
3. Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement quality strategies, support business initiatives, and enhance processes to improve performance.
4. Manage Non-Conformities: Oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), manage audit findings, and drive root cause resolution.
5. Train & Communicate: Deliver quality inductions, training sessions, and ensure effective communication of quality standards across the business.
6. Be a Key Liaison: Act as the point of contact for certification bodies, regulatory authorities, customers, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with aerospace regulations.

What We're Looking For

1. Extensive experience working with Quality Management Systems in the aerospace industry
2. In-depth knowledge of aerospace quality and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, AS 9100, EASA Part 21G, Part 145, etc.)
3. Strong audit experience (internal, supplier, and external audits), with a valid Lead Auditor certification
4. Expertise in quality tools and techniques, including root cause analysis, corrective actions (8D), and SPC (Statistical Process Control)
5. Experience liaising with certification bodies (LRQA), regulatory authorities (EASA, CAA), and customers
6. Strong analytical, reporting, and project management skills
7. Desirable: Mandarin language skills due to the company's global operations
