Job description

CK Group are recruiting for a QHSE Specialist, to join a leading manufacturer of fine chemicals, based near Cambridge on a full time, permanent basis, for a salary of £30,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Location:
The QHSE Specialist will be based at the company's site in Newmarket, easily commutable from Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Ely, Saffron Walden and Royston.

QHSE Specialist Role:
Your main duties will be:

  • QHSE Document Management: Handle and maintain company documents.
  • Support Audits: Assist with internal audits and investigations.
  • Incident Administration and Safety: Manage records of incidents, accidents, and complaints, and promote safety within the workplace.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep environmental and specification records up to date.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and internal auditing.
  • Understanding of investigating client complaints/non-conformance.
  • Understanding of investigating near misses, incidents and accidents, and dangers of working with hazardous chemicals.
  • Ideally previous QHSE experience.
