Bennett & Game are working in partnership with a leading specialist in the structural steel fabrication industry, who are seeking a QHSE Manager to join their team based near Pontypool. Operating nationwide, our client delivers complex and high-profile projects. With significant ongoing works at Heathrow Airport and a strong pipeline of projects across the UK, the successful candidate must be prepared for site travel when required.

The QHSE Manager will lead and develop the business's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental functions, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and industry standards. This role involves setting strategic direction, maintaining accreditations, promoting a positive safety and quality culture, and driving continual improvement across fabrication workshops and live project sites.

QHSE Manager Job Overview
  • Lead and manage all aspects of QHSE across workshops and project sites.

  • Proven background in QHSE management within the structural steel, fabrication, or construction industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK legislation including CDM 2015, LOLER, PUWER, and Work at Height Regulations.
  • Experience managing ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels.
  • Demonstrable experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of improvement strategies.
