About the role

Our manufacturing client is looking to engage an experienced QHSE Manager for their facility in Huddersfield!

You will be responsible for all quality and EHS matters of a new division therefore, we are seeking a hands-on individual who can grow a team moving forward.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
– Manage and continuously improve the Quality and EHS of the site
– Lead all processes for Quality, Health & Safety, and Product Safety
– Undertake risk management for processes
– Develop and Drive the QHSE programs
– Conduct Internal audits and provide support and training on QHSE matters
– Organise and lead external audits
– Take responsibility for NCR investigations and corrective actions including customer liaison

Your Skills and Abilities:
– Hold a NEBOSH Diploma
– Have a mechanical engineering background and a solid understanding of ISO9001, ISO 1801 and ISO14001 systems
– Be able to work on their initiative and lead and be part of a team.
– Experience within a machine shop environment would be useful but not essential
