Job summary

Insight Select is looking for an experienced Quality & EHS Manager to oversee the site Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental systems in Reading. The role focuses on hands-on leadership of audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement within the pharmaceutical and life sciences context.

You will drive root-cause investigations, manage supplier quality, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 across the site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Quality and/or QHSE systems.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Experience managing audits and CAPA processes.
• Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental management system.
• Manage internal and external audits and CAPA effectiveness.
• Handle customer quality issues and complaints.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and risk-based thinking.
• Develop and deliver Q-EHS training across the site.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 5pm

Working Pattern: Office based

Role Requirements

• Leading the Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental management system
• Managing internal and external audits
• Owning CAPA processes and effectiveness checks
• Managing customer quality issues and complaints
• Leading root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Supporting supplier and subcontractor quality performance
• Monitoring compliance, risks, trends and KPIs
• Leading incident investigations and HSE activities
• Driving continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and risk-based thinking
• Developing and delivering Q-EHS training across the site

About You

• Proven experience managingQuality and/or QHSE systems
• Strong knowledge ofISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Experience leading audits and managing CAPA
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
• Experience with HSE legislation, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Package

• £55,000-£65,000per annum
• Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00
