Operating nationwide, our client delivers complex and high-profile projects. With significant ongoing works at Heathrow Airport and a strong pipeline of projects across the UK, the successful candidate must be prepared for site travel when required.

QHSE Manager Job Overview

• Lead and manage all aspects of QHSE across workshops and project sites.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001).
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and carry out regular audits.
• Oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain quality standards across fabrication and site activities.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and report on QHSE KPIs.
• Deliver training, inductions, and toolbox talks to staff and subcontractors.

QHSE Manager Job Requirements

• NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent), with strong health & safety management experience.
• Proven background in QHSE management within the structural steel, fabrication, or construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of UK legislation including CDM 2015, LOLER, PUWER, and Work at Height Regulations.
• Experience managing ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001).
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels.
• Demonstrable experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of improvement strategies.
