On behalf of our client, a leading engineering and manufacturing group, we are currently recruiting for a talented and highly motivated QHSE Manager to join their senior leadership team in Market Harborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality-focused professional to take the lead on key initiatives including the implementation of ISO 45001, followed by ISO 14001. The successful candidate will manage a small team and report directly to a company director, playing a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of ISO 45001 and drive progress towards ISO 14001
• Take ownership of the company’s quality management system and project-specific quality processes
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely closeout of non-conformities
• Support and mentor team members while promoting a proactive QHSE culture
• Analyse processes and performance data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements

Ideal Candidate:

• Background in engineering or manufacturing, ideally with a relevant technical or scientific degree
• NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ Level 6 preferred; NEBOSH General Certificate also considered
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 (lead auditor certification desirable)
• Experience implementing and managing ISO systems and conducting audits
• Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis, with a strong focus on process improvement
