Job description

Atlas Professionals are recruiting for a QHSE Manager for a marine client based in central Aberdeen. This will be a full-time role, working Monday to Friday. Ideally, candidates should have QHSE experience within the Marine Industry.

Main Duties:
  1. Provide advice and support for all aspects of Health & Safety related to the safe operation of the company fleet.
  2. Implement, maintain, and review the company's IMS for the fleet.
  3. Assess accidents and hazardous occurrence reports related to office and ship personnel; carry out investigations as required.
  4. Compile a monthly summary of accidents, hazardous reports, and safety statistics.
  5. Plan internal/external audits for the office and fleet vessels; assess audit results; ensure timely corrective/preventative actions.
  6. Assess feedback from fleet vessels and propose improvements to the shore-based safety committee.
  7. Chair QHSE meetings when required.
  8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the company's HSE strategy; manage and identify compliance training for on and offshore staff.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), a proven maritime industry background, and ideally be certified to deck officer level. A NEBOSH or equivalent qualification is also preferred.
