Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Gloucester is seeking a QHSE Coordinator to support H&S, Environmental, Quality and Information Security management systems. You will help ensure procedures meet accreditation schemes and assist audits with support from the Group QHSE Manager.

Duties include assisting training, maintaining ISO 9001/14001/27001 systems, conducting process audits, managing client portals and promoting a Safety First culture.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Excellent attention to detail and organised approach.
• Ability to work using own initiative as well as within a team.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to engage with all management levels.
• Good IT literacy and MS Office proficiency.
• Full clean driving licence.
• GCSE English & Maths (C/4) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining H&S, environmental, quality and information security management systems.
• Support audits and external certification bodies with Group QHSE Manager.
• Assist with staff training programmes including e-learning portals.
• Maintain and transition ISO systems (9001, 14001, 27001) as standards evolve.
• Complete EHS inductions for new starters.
• Attend to client portals for tender/pre-qualification.
• Promote the company Safety First culture.
• Log accidents and support investigations.
