Job summary

Omega Plc is seeking a QHSE Coordinator to support maintaining a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace. You will assist with health and safety inspections, document control, risk assessments, incident reporting and training, while contributing to the implementation of QHSE policies and procedures.

The role focuses on promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring up-to-date training, and maintaining compliance with UK health and safety laws.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK QHSE legislation and regulations.
• Ability to identify hazards and recommend practical control measures.
• Strong report-writing and record-keeping skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and carry out workplace inspections.

Responsibilities

• Report, record and assist with investigations of accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Monitor the use of PPE and promote good health and safety practices among employees.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisation.
• Ensure all required associates have up to date manual handling, first aid, fire warden training and visual acuity.
• Prepare basic QHSE reports, statistics and performance information for management.
• Complete supplier questionnaires, REACH and RoHS declaration requests.
• Notification of change log administration.
• Assist with organising and delivering QHSE inductions, toolbox talks and awareness training.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining QHSE policies and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.

The role involves assisting with health and safety inspections, document control, risk assessments, incident reporting, training, quality and environmental compliance, as well as implementation of company QHSE policies and procedures Responsibilities:
