Job description

Seeking a QHSE Coordinator to join a growing global company specialising in the design, manufacturing, and servicing of torque machines and bucking units. This is a full time, permanent staff position based just north of Portlethen. As QHSE Coordinator, you’ll assist in managing and operating the Integrated Management System (IMS) across QHSE standards. Working closely with the QHSE Manager, you’ll support day-to-day activities that promote a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with standards, and drive continuous improvement across the business. This is an exciting time to join an expanding company!

This is a full-time, fully office/site-based role, though the company is open to candidates seeking a 4-day working week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and communicating IMS policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Acting as Deputy Representative for quality assurance.
  • Assisting with internal audits, site inspections, and supplier verification.
  • Coordinating and maintaining training records and inductions.
  • Monitoring non-conformances and corrective/preventative actions.
  • Helping maintain ISO certifications and support external audits.
  • Controlling permits to work and lifting equipment consumables.
  • Deputising for the QHSE Manager when required.
  • Assisting with auditing at company and supplier sites.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in a QHSE Coordinator role, or in a QHSE Administrator/Assistant role.
  • Knowledge of QHSE practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • A practical, hands-on approach to supporting QHSE initiatives.
  • Auditor training would be advantageous but is not essential.
