Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a QEHS Manager, with behavioural safety and London Underground/Network Rail/Rail standards experience, to join the Asset Management side of our business. Based from our office near Canning Town, this role requires flexibility, as working 1 week a month of nights will be necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Promote a positive QEHS culture to stakeholders and employees.
  • Knowledge and experience of Behavioural Based Safety Practices.
  • Previous experience in a fire maintenance environment is preferred.
  • Extensive Rail knowledge: London Underground, London Overground, Crossrail/Elizabeth Line, or Network Rail.
  • Recognised industry Health and Safety qualification, e.g., NEBOSH General or equivalent.
  • Experience developing relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.
  • Internal auditing experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and develop fire safety policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and review protective and preventative measures based on hazard analysis and risk assessments for fire maintenance.
  • Outline safe operating procedures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure effective control measures (fire detection/fire suppression).
  • Deliver and drive QEHS Fire KPIs.

Who you are:

The successful candidate will have QEHS Manager experience, knowledge of behavioural safety practices, and industry experience with London Underground and/or Network Rail/Rail.
