We are looking for a Quality Compliance Technologist to join our QC team. Working Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm rotating.

Responsibilities
  1. Carry out Q.C testing procedures, including testing bakes, chemical, and physical analysis on various products and ingredients as requested.
  2. Report any non-conformances promptly, advise appropriate personnel of discrepancies, and carry out RCA.
  3. Respond to queries from company personnel professionally and accurately.
  4. Work well as part of a team and show initiative to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the workplace.
  6. Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety rules.
  7. Provide the company with a fast, accurate, and efficient service.
  8. Communicate findings quickly and effectively.
  9. Liaise with production and customer services to communicate test results clearly and promptly.
  10. Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment to meet customer orders.
  11. Exercise duty of care to self and others.
  12. Model positive working practices and behaviors.
  13. Proactively report and escalate health, safety, and wellbeing issues.
  14. Participate in safety observation reports and other health and safety initiatives.
  15. Report failed products and control stock that does not meet QC criteria.
  16. Ensure products meet QC specifications before release.
  17. Have experience working in a fast-moving food manufacturing environment.
  18. Possess a clear understanding of ISO 9001/BRC, Food Safety, Hygiene, HACCP, COSHH, pest control, and relevant food legislation.
  19. Knowledge of Unity F8 database system (desirable).
  20. Previous QC experience.
  21. Problem-solving and RCA skills (desirable).
