Job summary

A global animal health company is seeking a QC Technician to join their team on a contract basis. The role involves conducting various testing processes to ensure compliance with required specifications, maintaining SOPs, and supporting laboratory operations. Candidates should hold a biological based degree and ideally have experience in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

  • Some experience of working in a regulated analytical laboratory.
  • Knowledge of GxP quality systems.
  • Experience in a GMP environment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing to support batch release to required specifications.
  • Support site utilities and environmental testing programs.
  • Write and update relevant SOPs and material specifications.

Skills

Knowledge of GxP quality systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

CK Group are recruiting for a QC Technician, to join a global animal health company, on a contract basis until 30/06/26.

£16.15 per hour PAYE.

  • All aspects of in process and final product testing where results are used to support release of batches to required specifications, including receipt of test samples into QC.
  • Test in support of the site utilities and environmental testing programs.
  • Support with QC QMS processes such as, OOS, deviations, CAPA and change controls.
  • Writing and updating relevant SOPs and material specifications.
  • Maintenance and control of reagents used for relevant QC analytical tests.
  • Sterilization of equipment and waste removal from the restricted area.

Your Background:

  • Biological based degree or equivalent.
  • Some experience of working in a regulated analytical laboratory.
  • Knowledge of GxP quality systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience in a GMP environment strongly preferred.
