The main purpose of the role is to receive sample deliveries of raw materials and packaging items. To execute sampling within the production facility including water sampling, intermediate and finished product sampling, and swabbing of production equipment upon request to ensure that operations adhere to planned schedules.

To perform all duties in accordance with written procedures and the site quality management system (adherence to cGMP at all times).

Main Responsibilities

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Sampling of all raw materials and packaging items on site. To ensure all raw materials are stored in the correct manner as stated in the appropriate SOP.
  • To initiate and review deviations and change controls after consultation with the QC Sampling Supervisor, ensuring they are actioned and closed in a timely manner, and CAPAs are addressed accordingly.
  • Generate labels for all components as stated in the appropriate SOP.
  • To ensure the proper maintenance of all records and logs relating to work and equipment operation.
  • To order and maintain all relevant QC sampling stock.
  • To ensure all raw materials received are weighed and moved off the system as ordered.
  • To execute required testing on raw materials and packaging items such as FTIF, glass type 1 testing, USP Mortar and Pestle for pulverizing glass in accordance with written procedures and protocols.
  • Sampling of in-process manufactured product and finished product is executed in a timely manner to ensure no delays to production schedules.
  • Swabbing within the facility is executed in a timely manner to ensure no delays to the production schedules.
  • Comply with GMP, GLP, and Health and Safety standards at all times.
  • Preparation and dispatch of samples to external laboratories.
