Alliance Medical is seeking a QC Radiochemist to join our Radiopharmacy team. The role involves GMP-compliant QC testing of radiopharmaceuticals and training across GC, HPLC, r-TLC and gamma spectroscopy. New graduates or those with an Analytical Chemistry background are encouraged to apply.

This position entails 40 hours per week with shift work to manage the short shelf-life of radiopharmaceuticals, and includes staged salary uplifts as training milestones are achieved.

Competenze

• Hold a BSc/MSc in Chemistry or expect to graduate this year.
• Background in analytical chemistry with GMP awareness.
• Experience or training in QC testing of radiopharmaceuticals ideal.

Mansioni

• Operate and maintain routine QC protocols for chemistry labs in GMP and EU pharmacopoeia scope.
• Maintain QC equipment including HPLC, GC, pH, Osmolality, and LAL.
• Record faults and support QA and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with QC Manager to develop cGMP, QA and QC systems for PET tracers.
• Order chemicals and prepare reagents, glassware and waste disposal.
• Prepare updated SOPs for QA approval and adoption.
• Provide training and rota back-up for routine QC operations.
• Adhere to GMP, GLP and MHRA/HSE safety rules.
