Job summary

Perceptive is seeking a QC Chemist to perform method development and routine analysis of PET radiotracers in a GMP setting. You will implement QC for new radiotracers, support clinical and pre-clinical studies, and contribute to data processing including HPLC and GC.

The role requires at least 2 years in a QC laboratory with HPLC experience and GMP knowledge. GC experience is advantageous; familiarity with short‑lived isotopes is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a QC laboratory.
• HPLC experience is essential.
• GMP environment knowledge preferred.
• Experience with radiochemistry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• QC of assigned radiotracers according to project distribution and the scanning schedule.
• QC implementation of newly assigned radiotracers: method development, validation and documentation.
• Providing routine QC support to clinical and pre-clinical studies.
• Analytical chemistry support for precursor characterization, radiotracer and radioligand purification.
• Data processing including HPLC and GC.
• Documenting QC records to ensure compliance with cGMP.
• Raising and investigating OOS results and deviations within QMS.
• Presenting technical QC issues to audits when required.
• Training and educating others in your area of expertise.
• Keeping up to date with procedures and policies and new analytical techniques.
• Presenting results to internal and external audiences.
• Maintaining stocks of laboratory supplies.
• Completing routine laboratory tasks, e.g., preparing buffers and calibration standards.
