Job summary

SRG is seeking 2x QC Microbiology Technicians for a temporary contract in Hampshire (UK). You will perform analytical and wet chemistry testing on raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications, while supporting environmental monitoring, validation testing, and data logging in SAP/LIMS.

The role involves two shift patterns (2PM-10PM or 3PM-11PM) or a weekend pattern (6AM-2PM or 7AM-3PM) with a shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in lab-based analytical testing, ideally in cosmetics or FMCG manufacturing.
• Comfortable and confident in QC testing and wet chemistry analysis.
• Experience with SAP/LIMS or similar laboratory information systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of incoming raw materials and finished goods to ensure specification compliance.
• Monitor critical control parameters and flag out-of-trend results promptly.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and validation testing within the lab.
• Review test data, logbooks and calculations to support confident release decisions.
• Assist with investigations into quality issues and support OOS investigations as needed.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis and log results accurately in SAP/LIMS; update SOPs and train colleagues.
