Job description

Job Opportunity: Quality Controller

We are currently seeking a Quality Controller for our client based in Headcorn.

Previous experience in QC roles is essential.

Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Testing and inspecting materials and processes from intake to final dispatch, ensuring all specifications are met, and reporting exceptions promptly.
  2. Inspecting raw materials and packaging, reconciling delivery notes and certificates of analysis to ensure full traceability and quality.
  3. Conducting chemical, physical, and sensory testing, and approving finished products for release.
  4. Recording and reporting all testing and inspection results.
  5. Escalating out-of-specification products.
  6. Identifying and assisting in resolving non-conforming product issues.
  7. Monitoring process controls and reporting any out-of-parameter results.
  8. Performing sensory shelf life analysis of finished products throughout their lifecycle.
  9. Conducting environmental swabbing as scheduled.
  10. Monitoring GMP standards throughout the factory and reporting issues to management.
  11. Carrying out routine audits, including glass and record audits.

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • Full-time, temporary position with the potential to become permanent.
  • Comprehensive training provided on business procedures and protocols.
  • Pay: £13 - £13.72 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Weekly pay.
  • Free on-site parking.
